The School of Education at Antioch University Midwest offers programs for both current and aspiring teachers and administrators, blending practical knowledge with leadership skills while pursuing a specialized area of study. Coursework emphasizes working in a classroom setting or school community to understand and ethically apply scientifically-based educational research. Program graduates are poised to transition into advanced leadership, research or policy positions. Our programs include:

The School of Education at Antioch University Midwest is accredited as a part of Antioch University through the Higher Learning Commission. The School of Education at Antioch University Midwest is separately accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP), formerly the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE). The Early Childhood Education, Special Education and the Leadership and Ohio Principal Licensure programs are recognized by their respective Specialized Professional Association (SPA) – Education of Young Children (NAEYC), Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) and Educational Leadership Constituent Council (ELCC).
